30 Years at Portadown Independent Christian School - 1988-2018
Portadown independent Christian School first opened it's doors to pupils in September 1988. We are thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness over these past 30 years and in bringing the school to this milestone. To mark the occasion a 30th Anniversary Service was held in Bethany FPC on Wednesday 12th September 2018. We were delighted to see so many past and current pupils, teachers and friends of the school attend. Rev McClung preached (Chairman of the Education Board), Mr Andrew Murray testified (past pupil & student minister), Rev Elliott outlined the history of the school (founding Administrator) and Rev Abernethy lead the service (School administrator). Principal Mrs Diane Haffey, who was one of the original teachers on the opening day of the school, received a gift to mark the years of service she has given faithfully. Supper was served after the service where a display of photos from the 30 years of PICS was displayed.
